All set for our departure to Malawi tomorrow – I don’t think there will be too many snowboard bags which have been to Lilongwe airport. The last decent snowfall in Malawi was on Mount Mulanje in 1954!
The bag contains UV filter equipment for our exciting Water for Life project at Tapukwa. We’re looking forward to seeing the progress with the irrigation scheme there and, hopefully, will be able to install the water filtration system in the newly built Filter House. It’s all part of a long term project but we hope to have the community of nearly 1,000 people drinking filtered water by Spring next year.
