Malawi Fruits is a Scottish NGO, established in 2011, with a mission to support sustainable economic development in Malawi. Our office is in Mzuzu and we have an Agri Service Centre in Rumphi from where we support farmers with access to mechanisation, irrigation and maintenance services.
Our current focus is on three projects:
- A Scottish Government funded project, Inspiring Young Farmers.
- Provision of solar irrigation pumps through the Church of Scotland Guild, Rotary Clubs and the Malawi Innovation Challenge Fund
- Water for Life – a Scottish Government funded project to provide irrigation, clean water and renewable energy for the community at Tapukwa
